Public trust in the police often declines due to issues of transparency, accountability, and service responsiveness. This study aims to analyze the influence of these three factors on university students’ trust in the Indonesian National Police. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research population was 29,129 students at several universities in Central Kalimantan, with sampling using purposive sampling techniques, resulting in 379 respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the relationships and effects among the variables. The findings indicate that transparency, accountability, and service responsiveness each have a positive and significant effect on public trust, while their combined influence provides a stronger contribution in explaining variations in students’ trust levels. These results underscore the importance of enhancing police governance quality as a foundation for building and strengthening public trust in the institution.
