Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial attitude on financial management behavior, with financial inclusion serving as a mediating variable among Generation Z in Riau. The research sample consisted of 150 randomly selected respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire designed to measure financial attitude, financial management behavior, and the level of financial inclusion. Data analysis was conducted using Smart PLS to test the relationships between variables. The research results show that financial attitudes have a significant positive effect on financial inclusion. Financial inclusion has no effect on financial management behavior, nor does financial attitude have an effect on financial management behavior either directly or through mediation. where, financial inclusion is not proven to play a mediating role in the relationship between financial attitudes and financial management behavior. These findings provide important insights for the development of financial education programs for Generation Z and underscore the need to improve financial attitudes in the face of today's fast financial access which is then expected to have an impact on financial management behavior.
