THE ROLE OF DIFFERENTIATION FOR COMPETITIVENESS IN MODERATING THE INFLUENCE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR ON THE PERFORMANCE OF PRIVATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop a conceptual model of the influence of transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior on the performance of private high schools by offering differentiation for competitiveness as a moderating variable that could strengthen transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior in improving the performance of private high schools in Pekanbaru City. The data were processed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). The number of samples was 100 private high school teachers in Pekanbaru City. The main finding in this study was that transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior influenced the performance of private high schools, while differentiation for competitiveness acts as a moderating variable that strengthens the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior against the performance of private high schools.
